The Kids Biz Planner

The Kids Biz Planner is a complete time, job and money manager for children in one spiral-bound book. Along with fifty-two Super Star Contract and Job Description pages, the Planner also includes easy to follow Directions, Sample Pages, a Suggestions Section, and TV and Video Game Tickets.

The Planner is bound at the top so the Super Star Contract (top page) and the Job Description (bottom page) are simultaneously visible. With fifty-two blank sets, you and your child are set for the entire year! (Note: Since the Super Star Contract and Job Description are personalized for the individual's job, each child should have their own Planner to record their success.)

How To Use Kids Biz
And Why It Works

Children learn life management skills through the use of the Kids Biz Planner. The Planner gives your children their first written Job Description and Super Star Contract. The Job Description provides clear guidelines defining daily and weekly responsibilities, while the Super Star Contract teaches the valuable lessons of following rules and keeping agreements.

Kids Biz Vocabulary

The words parents use when communicating with their children have a significant impact on the way children view themselves. For this reason, we recommend that parents refer to the daily chores outlined in the Planner as their children's Job Description.

The word "chores" implies drudgery without dignity. Even when children complete their tasks, they have a limited since of accomplishment due to the lack of importance associated with the word "chores". From the child's point of view, chores are "kid's work" and we all know that children aspire to be like adults.

In keeping with this phylosophy, a child's allowance becomes his Paycheck or Salary, and his piggy bank is now his Investment Bank. The points he receives for a job well-done are called Achievement Checks instead of check marks.

These words will have a powerful effect on you as well. You will begin to view the work of your children as more important and become more committed to consistency and follow-through.

Use Kids Biz vocabulary to help your children see themselves as important and responsible people.
